What to Expect During Treatment
The treatment begins with a thorough cleansing followed by the application of a topical numbing cream to maximize comfort. The SkinPen® device is then used to create controlled microchannels in the skin. Most patients experience mild redness and sensitivity after treatment, similar to a sunburn, which generally improves within 24–48 hours.
Recommended Treatments
Most patients benefit from a series of 4–6 treatments spaced approximately 4–6 weeks apart depending on their skin condition, goals, and treatment area. A consultation and skin assessment will help determine the most appropriate treatment plan.
Post-Treatment Care
Following treatment, patients should avoid direct sun exposure and follow all post-care instructions provided by the clinic. Mild redness, swelling, and sensitivity are common temporary side effects as the skin heals and regenerates.
